The Antique Telescope Society’s
25th Annual Convention

On October 21 through October 23, 2016, the Antique Telescope Society will hold its 25th Annual Convention in Flagstaff, AZ at historic Lowell Observatory. In addition, on Monday, October 24th, we will tour the US Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station.

The program includes a tour of beautiful and historic Lowell Observatory with its recently renovated 24-inch Alvan Clark refractor and the Pluto discovery astrograph; a reception on Friday evening with hor d’oeuvres and featuring Lowell Observatory speakers; Saturday and Sunday paper sessions and members’ displays of their own collections. The traditional banquet on Saturday evening, under the Rotunda of Lowell Observatory, will feature a Keynote Address by noted historian and author Dr. William Sheehan. Every effort will be made to observe, weather permitting. We look forward to welcoming ATS members and friends to Flagstaff.
